Statement
Green Garage Door is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we work to maintain and improve accessibility on an ongoing basis.
Measures We Take
- Semantic structure: headings, lists, landmarks, and HTML5 elements are used according to their meaning.
- Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements — links, buttons, the service selector, and the contact form — can be operated with a keyboard alone (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space).
- Skip link: a “Skip to main content” link appears on keyboard focus at the top of the page.
- Visible focus: a clear focus outline is shown on every interactive element during keyboard navigation.
- Labeled forms: every form field has an associated label, and required fields are clearly marked.
- Screen-reader support: images include alternative text, icons are hidden from assistive technology where decorative, and ARIA roles/states are used for interactive components.
- Reduced motion: animations are disabled automatically for visitors who enable the “reduce motion” setting in their operating system.
- Responsive design: the layout adapts to all screen sizes and supports browser zoom without loss of content.
- Color contrast: text and interactive elements are designed to meet AA contrast ratios.
Conformance Status
This website is designed to follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA. As of the date above, the site has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit. We review and improve accessibility ourselves on an ongoing basis and intend to pursue a formal review in the future.
